# Season as a Process

VARĀHĪ presents a season as a developmental process rather than a single anonymous onset date.

Phases:

1. **Garbha** — conception or gestation of the seasonal process.
2. **Early Activation** — initial unfolding of the seasonal window.
3. **Stabilisation** — consolidation of the activated process.
4. **Main Prasava** — principal manifestation or release.

Delayed or stalled seasons are examined through source-linked external evidence markers where available. Computed annual dates remain discrete calendrical outputs rather than a smoothed meteorological series.

This framework is a research hypothesis under test, not a metaphysical assertion.
