# VARĀHĪ Overview

VARĀHĪ is a source-governed computational reconstruction of selected natural-time systems described in the Bṛhat Saṃhitā. It converts textual rules into transparent, traceable and executable logic for study, testing and comparison with historical evidence.

## Calendrical sophistication

The successful computational reconstruction of this system demonstrates the sophistication of the calendrical and astronomical knowledge on which it rests. Its internal coherence, reproducibility and ability to generate testable seasonal structures suggest a highly developed understanding of time, celestial cycles and natural processes.

A system capable of being reconstructed, executed and tested across more than a century of data cannot be dismissed as loose symbolism. Its operational coherence is testimony to the depth of the calendrical science from which it emerged.

Operational coherence strengthens the case for the sophistication and antiquity of the calendrical tradition. It does not, by itself, settle every chronological dispute; textual, astronomical and historical arguments remain relevant.
